Conversation Series

Future Ed Now is where we bring to you the latest evidence-based innovations in education be they techniques or technologies, content or curriculum with the goal towards speeding up the supremely slow pace of change that is the education industry.

On Future Ed Now. We are solutions focused and though we are painfully aware of the antiquated state of education we strive to go past the negative low hanging fruit of complaining about the various problems in education (and they are legion) and bring to you experts in the industry who represent the future because they need to be shared and spread and quite simply, we can be better.

Charle Peck
Co-founder, Education Lead
Thriving School Consulting, LLC

Charle serves districts and school leaders as a consultant with over 20 years of teaching and mental health leadership experience. After witnessing gaps in our overburdened education system, she pursued a Master's degree in Social Work to explore more effective, sustainable solutions. Charle’s clinical work in trauma with struggling families, undervalued teens, and disenfranchised school staff guided her in co-creating a revolutionary program to optimize the well-being of entire school communities. Charle continues to support overwhelmed parents and caregivers with their anxious teens and speaks to large groups to share her expertise as a Keynote Speaker.

Using her unique lens as an educator, a therapist, and a parent to help others, Charle infuses evidence-based data to develop targeted mental health programming for schools, specifically around anxiety, trauma, and suicide awareness, while promoting self-care. She designs and delivers online courses and virtual training internationally, and as the Co-Founder of Thriving Schools Consulting, LLC, she invests her time and energy into reaching people on a massive scale, one community at a time.

Students as Changemakers

A generation of young people are already 'taking action' on issues of importance and interest to them, creating a generation of Young Changemakers. While much of this is happening outside of schools, such as the #FridaysforFuture movement, educators are perfectly placed to embed Changemaking into their classroom and curriculum. Changemaker education develops real-life skills, equipping students for the now and the future.
